Non-Executive Chair of the Board
Judith Batchelar has over 35 years’ experience in the UK food industry, having previously served as a Director of Sainsbury’s and Safeway. As a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology and the President of the British Nutrition Foundation, she is highly respected in the sector and was awarded an OBE for services to farming and the food industry.
Judith is the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

Rick Guiney was appointed MicroSalt’s CEO in December 2021 and is a veteran of the food industry with a 35-year track record of leading positions at Anheuser-Busch and Quorn Foods. He was previously CEO of Classic Snacks, Inc. and during his stewardship it grew into a leading national snack company in the US and was included on the Inc.500 Fastest Growing Company list.
CFO
As CFO of Tekcapital plc, Konrad has strong existing experience of AIM listed companies and the retail sector. He was previously Finance Director at Lucyd, the eyewear company in which TEK Capital was a key investor prior to its NASDAQ listing in August 2022. He is a qualified accountant who spent 5 years with Deloitte US and thereafter as global accounting manager for Restaurants Brands International.
Dan has served as a non-executive Director on the board of MicroSalt since December 2021 and has longstanding experience in the food sector. During his time as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Pilgrim’s, a leading global provider of high-quality food products, sales reached US$8.5 billion during his tenure. He has also previously served as President and Principal of Meaningful Solutions, a consulting firm specialising in the agri-food sector and of GreenStar Cooperative, focusing on gourmet food distribution in the New York area.
Dan is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Javier has 20 years experience, spanning supply chain work for Chlor-Alkali and working for Procter & Gamble, Clorox, the cleaning product company and Primo Water Corp. He has particular expertise in managing external manufacturers and innovation sourcing, having worked in support of the launch of more than 30 product lines.
VP, Sales
Mike has a 30 year track record of sales and merchandising roles in consumer packaged goods for Procter & Gamble, Ralston Purina, Pinnacle Foods, Ahold USA and United Natural Foods. He has considerable sales leadership experience, having worked for 10 years in strategy development and execution, accelerating sales growth for brands across multiple customer channels
VP, Marketing
Carolina has 16 years’ experience in Marketing and PR with more than 7 years as part of running her own business. Her approach focuses on building strong brands which create market value and achieve market share by being front of mind and launching high impact, enduring communications strategies. Her previous experience includes work for Nestle and Latam Airlines.
Business Development Director
Mario is an innovator within the food and restaurant sectors, with
a strong track record in driving sales and gaining presence in new markets. Previous positions included US Manager for Foodtastic in Montreal and Sales and Operational Adviser for Sahira Jewellery Design.
